1. The Parents/Guardians,

I/We will :

• See that our / my child attends school regularly, punctually, properly equipped and wearing school uniform.
• Let the school know about any concerns or problems that might affect my child’s work or behaviour.
• Support the Schools policies and guidelines for behaviour  - to foster a positive and friendly ethos.
• Aim to attend all parents evenings regarding my child’s progress.
• Show an interest in my child’s school work and try to ensure that homework is neatly presented and returned on the appropriate days.
• Ensure that holidays are not taken  wherever possible during the school’s term ( only 2 weeks can be authorised).
• Pay promptly for school meals.
• Inform the school of any changes to home address, telephone numbers, place of work and emergency contacts.

2. The School.

• Ensure that ----------- receives a wide, challenging and balanced education suited to his/her needs.
• Provide a happy caring environment where all pupils are motivated and encouraged to achieve their full potential
• Welcome and encourage parents’ interests and involvement in school life.
• Aim to provide a safe  and secure environment.
• Contact parents if there is a problem with attendance, punctuality and equipment, or problems that affect their  child’s work or behaviour.
• Provide information to parents on the progress made by their child, and produce an annual written report.
• Provide appropriate home learning activities for the child to complete at home with parental support.
• Keep parents informed about  school activities through regular letters home. Newsletters and notices about special events and requests.
• Offer a welsh ethos and develop bilingualism.
• Place a strong emphasis on quality and high standards in both work and behaviour
