Pen-y-fan 2011
18 year 6 pupils made the long walk up to the summit of Pen-y-fan the highest mountain in South Wales. This was the second peak for some of the pupils to climb as some have previously walked the length of the Preseli Hills in Pembrokeshire. The Pen-y-fan walk was made in record time this year, with pupils completing the walk in just over 3 hours. All pupils had a wonderful day and we hope before the end of the Summer term to complete the third peak and walk to the summit of Pen-Tyrcan, this being the highest point in the Amman Valley.
